Some is more dense--we call that a solid. Some is lighter; some is visible; some is not. We have energetic fields in our bodies. The areas associated with these energetic fields are known as chakras. Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means wheel or disc. Imagine a little tornado vortex coming out the front of your body and then through the back…this is an energetic field (chakra) in which energy flows in and out of the spiritual body. This energy impacts the physical body as well. In the Ayurveda system, there are seven chakras associated with various body areas.
Considering that we often find such DIS-balance between our personal, home, family, and fun, it’s no surprise that we end up in DIS-EASE! We are imbalanced in our approach to almost everything… and that’s ok for now. Every once in a while, we need to reset the body, mind, and spirit. That’s what the Chronicles of an Electric Girl: Chakra Rebalance Challenge is all about. We will focus on “feeding” the body, the mind, and the spirit.
During the challenge, we focus on aligning our thoughts, intentions, and actions. Whew… that’s intense, right? Yep. It can be. Any period of release or shift can often be uncomfortable as you are shifting energy and letting go of toxic thoughts, beliefs, and even tons of crap in the body. This is not a detox. This is not a cleanse. While those may be effects of this process, this challenge is more about a journey inside and learning to support the holistic elements of YOU as an entire being. Sure, we could just hit you with a raw food challenge or an exercise challenge, but we really want to dare you to embrace the full spectrum of wellness: mind, body, and spirit. It takes 21 days to create new habits. Are you ready?
